Minimum of Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent and from an approved vocational or practical nursing education program. Experience in nursing work. Must be licensed as a licensed vocational nurse by the State of Texas or in another state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact. Must have a valid Texas Drivers license with a good driving record.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish. Experience in a mental health and/or jail setting.
Under the general supervision of Director of Nursing, is responsible for providing nursing services and preliminary assessment of suitability for Crisis Respite services to individuals referred to and residing in Pathways Crisis Respite Facility. Provides and nursing/healthcare training to clients and staff.
